Let's continue with the initial configuration of Genesy.

After we signed up as users , it's time to sync and configure the identities.

A Genesy Identity is a LinkedIn profile and/or email address that we will use to send prospecting messages

1️⃣ Sync your LinkedIn profile

Go to Genesy > Identities > + Add New Identity.
Under "Credentials", introduce:
- Your name
- Your LinkedIn email (the one you use to log in LinkedIn)
- Your LinkedIn password (the one you use to log in LinkedIn)
Confirm Your Identity:
- Check the notification on your mobile app to validate that it’s you.
- If you don’t receive a notification, check your email for a code and enter it in Genesy
Wait for Confirmation:
- Once the notification is validated, or the code is entered, you will see a message confirming that the authentication was successful (this may take a couple of minutes).

2️⃣ Connect your email address

On your identity box, click on Sign in with email
Select whether you want to connect with Gmail, Outlook or IMAP
Authenticate to complete the connection. If your email administrator requires to authorize the connection, send a request and come back when it's accepted.

On your identity box, click on Configuration
In Contact Details, you can fill in your profile information, add a link to your calendar and select the days & during which Genesy will send messages (ex: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 18:00)
In Email > Email Signature copy and paste the HTML code of your email signature by clicking on the </> Edit html icon on the right side
