CRM Cards (Salesforce)

Updated this week

Overview

CRM Cards are an easy way to see and manage Genesy data directly inside Salesforce — without needing to switch tabs or log into the Genesy platform.

They appear on your Contact and Account pages in Salesforce and give you instant access to key Genesy features like:

  • Viewing a contact or company’s Genesy status

  • Enriching data (email, phone, LinkedIn)

  • Adding contacts to campaigns

  • Organizing them into lists

  • Tracking enrichment or sync activities

In short — CRM Cards let you work faster by connecting your Salesforce data with everything happening in Genesy.

Where You’ll Find the CRM Card

After installation, you’ll see a card called “Genesy Status” on each Contact and Account page in Salesforce.

It includes the Genesy logo and shows all the key details pulled directly from Genesy.

Why it’s useful

If you’re an SDR, CRM Cards help you:

  • Save time – No need to jump between Salesforce and Genesy

  • Get better data – Instantly enrich contacts with verified emails, phone numbers, and LinkedIn info

  • Track your work – See what’s happening with your enrichment tasks and campaigns in real time

  • Launch actions faster – Add contacts to campaigns or lists with just a click

Key Sections of the Card

Each CRM Card is divided into four main sections you can expand:

  1. Enrichment – Get missing data like email, phone, and LinkedIn info

  2. Activity – Track progress of your enrichment and sync actions

  3. Campaigns – Add or remove the contact from Genesy campaigns

  4. Lists – Organize your contacts into target lists

You’ll see these sections when you open a Contact.

For Accounts (companies), you’ll mainly see if the company exists in Genesy and a button to open it.

How to Use CRM Cards

1. When the Record Doesn’t Exist in Genesy

If you open a contact that isn’t in Genesy yet, you’ll see a message:

“Record not found in Genesy”

Simply click the “Create in Genesy” button.

This will instantly create the record in Genesy so you can start enriching or adding it to campaigns.

2. Enriching a Contact

When you expand the Enrichment section, you can use these quick actions:

Action

What It Does

LinkedIn icon

Scrapes data from the contact’s LinkedIn profile

Email icon

Finds and verifies their email address

Phone icon

Finds and verifies their phone number

Open in Genesy

Opens the contact’s full profile in the Genesy platform

You’ll also see their enrichment score, sync status, and verification results.

🟢 Tip: You can click the refresh icon next to the email or phone field to re-verify them anytime.

3. Checking Activity

The Activity section shows all recent actions and their statuses:

  • Processing – Currently running

  • Success – Completed successfully

  • Failed – Something went wrong

This helps you keep track of what’s happening in real time — for example, when a LinkedIn scrape is still running or when an email was successfully verified.

4. Adding to Campaigns

In the Campaigns section, you can:

  • See all the campaigns this contact is already part of

  • Add them to a new campaign

  • Remove them from one

  • Pause all their active campaigns

To add a contact to a campaign:

  1. Click “Add to Campaign”

  2. Use the search bar to find your campaign

  3. Check the box next to it

  4. Click Add to Campaign — done!

If they’re already in multiple campaigns, you’ll see them listed with status tags like Active or Paused.

5. Adding to Lists

Lists are a great way to organize your contacts — for example, by region, industry, or priority.

To add a contact to a list:

  1. Expand the Lists section

  2. Click “Add to List”

  3. Search and select the lists you want

  4. Click Add to List

You can also remove them from any list using the ✗ icon.
