You can purchase additional credits and identities directly in your Enginy account. This article explains how to add credits or identities, what each purchase option means, and what happens to your billing.
Important: Only admins can access the purchase flow for credits and identities.
How to add more credits
To add more credits to your Enginy account, follow these steps:
Go to View Usage in the bottom-left section of the Enginy Platform.
Select Credits from the menu at the top.
Click Add Credits.
Choose your purchase type: One-off Top-up or Upgrade your Plan (see explanation below).
Select the amount of credits you want to add.
Click Add Credits.
Review your order and confirm by clicking Add [X] credits.
Pricing tiers: The more credits you add, the lower the price per credit. You can see the full pricing table directly in the purchase flow when selecting your amount.
What is the difference between One-off Top-up and Upgrade your Plan?
There are two ways to add credits, and they work differently:
One-off Top-up adds a fixed amount of credits to your account immediately. One-off top-ups are limited to 100% of your monthly plan allowance, and you can make up to 2 top-up purchases per year. Any unused credits from a one-off top-up will expire after 30 days. One-off top-ups are invoiced immediately upon purchase.
Upgrade your Plan increases your monthly credit allowance on a recurring basis. The additional credits are added to your account immediately and replenished each month going forward. Your subscription amount will increase by the amount shown at checkout. The increase is added to your next invoice.
How to add more identities
To add more identities to your Enginy account, follow these steps:
Go to View Usage in the bottom-left section of the Enginy Platform.
Select Conversations from the menu at the top.
Click Add Identities.
Select the number of identities you want to add.
Click Add Identities.
Review your order and confirm by clicking Add [X] Identities.
Pricing tiers: The more identities you add, the lower the price per identity. You can see the full pricing table directly in the purchase flow when selecting your amount.
Note: Identity purchases are added to your next invoice.

Who can purchase credits or identities?

When will I be charged?
One-off Top-up (credits): Invoiced immediately upon purchase.
Plan Upgrade (credits): A prorated charge is invoiced immediately for the current billing period. The full upgraded amount appears on your next invoice.
Identities: Added to your next invoice.
How long do credits last?
Credits added through a Plan Upgrade do not expire — they replenish monthly with your subscription. Credits added through a One-off Top-up expire after 30 days if not used.
Can I reduce my credits or identities?
You can only reduce your credits or identities at the time of your contract renewal, when your existing contract ends. If you want to renegotiate your contract before renewal, contact your Account Manager directly.
