Choose a specific identity
If you need to import companies with a specific user identity, you can activate the ‘Choose a specific identity’ switch before continuing.
1. Enter the URL from LinkedIn Navigator
Enter the URL of the list of companies you wish to import from LinkedIn Sales Navigator in the text field.
🚨 URL must be: ‘https://www.linkedin.com/sales/search/company’
👉🏼 How to get a valid URL
Open LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Access the company search section.
Apply the filters you need (location, industry, company size, etc.).
Copy the complete URL from the browser bar.
Open the drop-down if the list does not load or gives an error and tells you that the URL has to be from SEARCH.

You can generate a filtered search (sales/search) that Genesy can process.
(It’s just about applying a filter 😉)
1️⃣ Go to the Accounts section.
2️⃣ Navigate to the Filters section and look for:
Workflow/Process
Account Lists
3️⃣ Select the company list you want to import.
Once you select the list, Sales Navigator will convert the results into an active search.
✅ The URL will change to the following format:
https://www.linkedin.com/sales/search/company
📌 Paste this new URL into Genesy
2. Select the maximum number of companies to be imported.
3. Select the destination list
Choose the list where the imported companies will be stored.
And you would already have your list of companies imported from a Sales Navigator URL.
