To integrate Genesy with Pipedrive, navigate to the Integrations page from the left-hand menu and click on the Pipedrive box.

You will then access the configuration, which consists of 3 steps:

1️⃣ Input Mapping: Fields that will be matched between Genesy and Pipedrive to detect whether the contact/company already exists

2️⃣ Export Mapping: Properties that will be updated in Pipedrive when exporting contacts or companies from Genesy

3️⃣ Campaign Mapping: Properties that will be updated in Pipedrive when exporting contacts from Genesy participating in campaigns

1️⃣ Input / Sync Mapping

  • Lead Identifier: Define the fields that should be matched between Genesy and Pipedrive to determine if a contacts in Genesy already exists in Pipedrive.

  • Company Identifier: Define the fields that should be matched between Genesy and Pipedrive to determine if a company in Genesy already exists in Pipedrive.

2️⃣ Export Mapping

Here, you will define the properties you want to update in Pipedrive for the Contact/Company objects when exporting contacts or companies from Genesy, respectively.

Fixed Fields
Select the Pipedrive properties you want to update with a fixed value when exporting contacts or companies from Genesy.

Export Fields
Select the Pipedrive properties you want to update when exporting contacts or companies from Genesy, but whose value is neither fixed nor based on a Genesy field. Instead, you can choose the value manually during export.

Engagement Fields
Select the Pipedrive properties you want to update with a fixed value, but only if the contact or company has participated in a campaign in Genesy.

This field is used to see if a contact or company has been contacted in Genesy or not. If it has been contacted, it will be filled with the indicated value. If it has not been contacted, it will remain empty

Example: engaged_by_genesy = Yes

3️⃣ Campaign Mapping

The following data from campaigns in which contacts participate can be exported to Pipedrive:

  • Campaign Sequence Details: Description of the sequence.

  • Campaign Engagement Status: The sequence step the contact is currently on.

  • Campaign Opens: Number of times the email has been opened.

  • Campaign Clicks: Number of times the email has been clicked.

  • Campaign Open Analysis: Whether the email has been opened, and if so, which message.

  • Campaign Click Analysis: Whether the email has been clicked, and if so, which message.

  • Campaign Reply Analysis: Whether the email has been replied to, and if so, which message.

To sync this data, you need to create text-type properties in Pipedrive for the Contact object and map them in this section.

4️⃣ User Mapping

Identites mapping: matches identities between Genesy and HubSpot to ensure that campaign activity is correctly synchronised in CRM

Users mapping: assigns a default owner for when we export from Genesy to HubSpot

Default user: If during the synchronisation process between Genesy and HubSpot a specific mapping has not been configured for a user, or if the system does not find a match in HubSpot, the platform will automatically assign a default user to prevent them from being left without an owner in the CRM
